Nepal Election Commission invites international observers for upcoming elections

The commission has issued a notice inviting applications from the international organisations, communities and individuals to observe the elections of the House of Representatives and State Assemblies scheduled on 26th November and 7th December.

Interested international organisations, communities and individuals can submit their applications till September 30. The basic objective of inviting international observers is to witness overall management of elections and contribute in conducting elections in free, fair and credible manner.

The commission says it will also help in developing and strengthening mutual relations with international organisations and communities in the electoral management process. The presence of international observers will also help in maintaining the credibility of the Election Commission and strengthening democratic process in Nepal.
