Indian army gets a makeover with special uniforms and other necessary needs

New Delhi, January 3: The Indian forces guarding the frontiers internally and externally have undergone change in their appearing depending on the threat depending on the danger lurking them. However requirement of new uniforms for safety of the soldiers have always been taken into consideration. Special uniform are designed for soldiers working on the border and field areas.

 

The forces deployed on the borders internally and externally in the country are assessed on a regularly basis and provisions for new items and improvisation in the existing one are made as per the given procedure. In order to protect the soldiers the government has taken precautions and every time took procurement on their gears and garments. They have been provided Bullet Proof Jackets (BPJ) and other necessary equipment’s for their safety and needs.

In the previous year 2016-2017 almost 50,000 bullet proof jackets were given to the Indian army through Revenue route. Ballistic helmets and other necessary requirements have been taken care of with each and every necessity coming their way.

The Indian army posted on the Northern regions of the country undergoes extreme cold and freeze climate. Likewise the appearances of the soldiers in the interior parts of the country also have been provided with proper improvised uniforms.
