Hyderabad, January 6: 2017 will be remembered for the phenomenal success of legendary director SS Rajamauli’s magnum opus Baahubali series which shattered all established records becoming India’s first highest grossing movie. Recently, international open sourcing platform Wikipedia mentioned Baahubali in the list of 2017’s most-read movie page. Adding yet another feather to the cap, the epic drama stood at 11th position with 14,607,282 read hits. Wikipedia hailed Baahubali: The Conclusion for its unprecedented global run where makers have minted over ₹17.065 billion setting new trend in Indian box office.
 
Made with a whopping budget of RS 2.5 billion, Baahubali was the true sensation which has changed the preconceived notions about the regional cinema. SS Rajamauli, who ventured the two-part fantasy drama under the banner of Arka media works, a leading production house down south.On December 29, the second part of epic drama kick-offed its biggest international release with a grand opening in Japan. In Jan 2018 makers are planning for a grand outing in Russia.

Baahubali: The Conclusion, the brainchild of Veteran Writer V Vijayendra Prasad, father of legendary director SS Rajamauli. India’s first highest grosser has already minted near about Rs 1700 crore. Producers are pretty sure about the grand success of the Bahubali series in the overseas market outside US and UK.

 

The two-part magnum opus was originally shot in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. Each version has already shattered all box office equations. In a recent survey of Google, Baahubali has emerged as the as the 7th most trending movie worldwide. Veteran film director Karan Johar presented the Hindi version of Baahubali with his Dharma Production.
