New Delhi, March 20: House is not in order and so no-confidence motion cannot be moved, said Lok Sabha Speaker today after the house was adjourned amidst ruckus created by the several political parties over no-confidence motion.

While Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj informed about the deaths of 39 missing Indians in Iraq’s Mosul, the MPs were raising slogans resulting in a chaotic situation. Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan irritatingly said this is not proper, do not be so insensitive, and please do not indulge in such politics!

Also, earlier YSRCP MPs met Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan at her office over their no-confidence motion.

While on Monday Union Home Home Rajnath Singh expressed his readiness saying “We are ready to discuss on the issue of no-confidence motion and we appeal to everyone that there should be a discussion on the issue.”

The no-confidence motion has been filed by the YSR Congress Party and the TDP, both of which are unhappy at Andhra Pradesh not being given 'special category status.

As several parties are set to move ‘no confidence’ motion against Modi government, today Lok Sabha received 3 requests for the motion one by Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party (YSR) Congress and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) are annoyed with the NDA government over denial of special category status to Andhra Pradesh as was promised by the UPA government in 2014 when the state was bifurcated to create Telangana.

We for last 4 years after the state was bifurcated have been fighting for special category status. Till 2016, BJP & Chandrababu Naidu kept saying that special status will be given. Then suddenly, he colluded with BJP, he is like a chameleon, he decided against the state said VS Reddy, YSRCP MP.

We will move the no-confidence motion; have talked to opposition parties including TMC, Congress and Samajwadi Party. YSRCP is just doing politics; they are not concerned about the welfare of state said Thota Narsimham, TDP MP.

After breaking away with NDA in the wake of demand for Special category status for Andhra Pradesh, CM N Chandrababu Naidu wooed its minority community members. Addressing minority wing members in Andhra Pradesh today CM Chandrababu Naidu, said, "You have always been supportive of TDP, but you were not happy that we allied with BJP. We have been working for the welfare of Muslims." CM Naidu said, “We thought as an NDA member, BJP will do justice to the state, but nothing happened. We waited for four years, but of no use. Even in the last budget justice was not done."
