Start-ups important for employment generation: Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao

Hyderabad, March 23: Underscoring the importance of innovation and Start-up drives, Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that by encouraging Start-ups and Young entrepreneurs, the state government will improve the employment generation in the newly carved state. Addressing the state assembly, Rao informed about the second phase of the ambitious T-Hub project.

Appreciating the T-Hub programme, the TRS leader said that state like Delhi, Goa, and Assam are seeking assistance on IT hubs. The Minister further added that the proposed project will take shape in the area of 3.60 lakh sqft with the capacity of 346 startups. Rao mentioned that enough steps are being taken to strengthen the rural economy with the help of dedicated Start-ups for rural innovations. Commenting on the expansion plans, KTR stated that strong ecosystem will be developed in districts like Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, and Mahbubnagar is order to establish the new IT zones.
