Siddaramaiah shielding anti-social elements: BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi

Mysore, April 26: Launching a serious attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, BJP leader Meenakshi Lekhi accused Congress government of shielding anti-social elements like Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) just for the sake of political gains. Speaking to the media, the BJP MP stated that state government has failed to maintain the declining law and order situation.
Referring to the alleged link of PFI and SDPI with terrorist organizations like Taliban and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, the senior Lawyer pointed out that Siddaramaiah purposefully withdrew the strong cases against the SDP and PFI activists. She maintained that under BJP government, several SDP activists were brought to book. Questioning the progress of Gauri Lankesh and M M Kalburgi murder case, Lekhi slammed Congress government for the sluggish investigation.
