Raipur, April 27: A salute to security forces who don’t even care about their lives and fight with the Maoists to prevent our nation from Maoists’ clutches. In Chhattisgarh, security forces have gunned down seven Maoists, including two women rebels, in an encounter in Bastar region today.

A team of District Police was on a search operation in Ilmidi area of Bijapur district. The encounter took place in hills of Aipenta and Marimalla near Telangana border.
A joint squad of Greyhounds -- an elite anti-Naxal unit of the Telangana Police -- and security personnel from Chhattisgarh had launched a combing operation in the forests along the inter-state border following intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoists in the area.
The bodies of seven Maoists were recovered from the spot. Police also recovered a large number of weapons, including 6 rocket launchers, one self-loading rifle, one 303 rifle, one revolver and three hand grenades. In this encounter, three police personnel were also injured.
Recently we read that a week before, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Anil Kumar Maurya, CRPF Jawan was martyred during an encounter between Maoists and security forces in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district.
And also on March 13, nine CRPF soldiers were killed and 6 others were injured during a Maoist attack in the same region.
