IMD warns on climatic disturbance in eastern, north-eastern parts

Kolkata, May 1: If you are going to travel to North- Eastern or Eastern part of the country then beware that you might face severe weather climate in 3-4 days as a cyclonic circulation lies over east Bihar and adjoining West Bengal & Jharkhand and a trough is running from this cyclonic circulation to Manipur across Meghalaya in lower levels and also an east-west trough is running from Punjab to southeast Madhya Pradesh across Haryana & west Madhya Pradesh in lower level.

Under the influence of above systems, scattered to widespread rainfall/thunderstorm activity very likely over east and northeast India during next 3-4 days.
