The hero pose or the virasana is another asana that will help relieve stress and improve concentration.

Suryanamaskar (Sun salutations)

This is one of the yoga poses that everyone must practice for healthy mind and body. It includes 12 poses, which engages different parts and organs of your body. It improves the flexibility and strength of the mind and body.

With changing time, there is need of change in various activities as well. The modern age mantra is all about balance, so why not take exercise to work? At the office, while you go about work non-stop, taking a moment and investing that time to do some simple yoga asanas like the ones mentioned below will work wonders for you.

1. Seated Crescent Moon:

If you spend time hunched over a computer all day, this asana is for you. Seated Crescent Moon fixes that so you can return to your seat with a taller spine, a clearer head, and sharper focus. Lift your arms overhead and stretch your fingers wide. Lean to the right, taking 2 to 3 deep breaths. Repeat on the left side for another 2 to 3 deep breaths.

2. Wrist and Finger Stretches:

Desk work builds up tension in the muscles and tendons in the fingers, hands, and wrists, so extra blood flow to these areas is always appreciated. Extend the arms to the sides or overhead and draw 5 to 10 circles inward and outward through the wrists. Next, quickly spread the fingers and close the fists, repeating this 5 to 10 times to shake off any excess tension. Now, put the hands on your desk, palms facing up and fingers towards you, putting gentle pressure to counter-stretch the wrist and the forearm.

3. Neck Asana:

Breathe in as you bend your head in one direction. Try and aim at a point where your shoulder touches the ear. Exhale as you bring your back to the normal position. Make sure you keep your neck and spine stretched. Now do the asana on the left side. Perform 5 breathing cycles on each side.

4. Desk Chaturanga

Your desk can support your yoga pushups! Blasting out a few of these strengthening movements throughout the day reminds the muscles around your neck to relax, while energizing the arms, which tend to go soft during the majority of the day. Get up out of your chair for this!

Rest your hands about shoulder width distance on the edge of your sturdy desk, and step your feet back so your torso is a diagonal line to the floor. Your feet firmly placed; inhale as you bend the elbows to a 90-degree angle, hugging the elbows in towards the ribs. Exhale and press your chest back up to the starting position. Repeat 8 to 12 times.

Yoga keeps your mind rejuvenated and calm. Breathing is important in yoga and having a control on your breathing properly will help you stay fit and healthy. Along with yoga, it is very essential to have a perfect diet to team up with. So now get out of your monotonous activity and become a yogi!
