Indian Army nabs three terrorists along LoC in Kupwara district of JK; foils infiltration

Srinagar, September 10: Indian Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid and arrested three terrorists in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir while they were trying to infiltrate the borders.

 

The troopers of Indian Army noticed the suspected movement along LoC in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Troopers immediately challenged the infiltrators and arrested three terrorists. The terrorists have been now handed over to the police and a case has been registered.

This comes a day after Lashkar terrorist was eliminated after a fierce encounter that took place in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Last week, security forces foiled the major infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir and killed a Pakistani terrorist.

Importantly, under Operation-All Out, a total of 134 terrorists belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Al Badr, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind have been eliminated in the first eight months of this year i.e from January 1 to August 31. While in the month of August, 25 terrorists were eliminated which is highest in a month this year.
