New Delhi, September 28: Defending champions India will lock horns with Bangladesh in the Asia Cup cricket final in Dubai today. Rohit Sharma, the stand-in Captain and the men in Blue are aiming to win the tournament for a record seventh time. Maintaining their brilliant show in the competition so far, India is yet to lose a match in the tournament. Sharma is currently the third highest run scorer in this edition of the tournament. India will also look at in-form Shikhar Dhawan, the highest run-getter in the current edition of Asia Cup.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be hoping to be third-time lucky in a summit clash. Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rehman considered one of the finest first bowlers in the world will be the one to watch out for, as his team would vie for the maiden Asia Cup title. Mushfiqur Rahim with 297 runs is the second highest scorer in this tournament.

Bangladesh had stunned Pakistan by defeating them in the last of the Super Four clashes by 37 runs, to clinch a seat in the Final.

India and Bangladesh have played 35 one-day internationals against each other, out of which Bangladesh have won five and India has registered its victory in 28. Two matches were washed out.
