New Delhi, Jan 29: “Depression of students should be treated with utmost priority, do not take it lightly,” said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a gathering of a student in New Delhi today.
He said, whenever anyone feels depressed to do an exercise, write down all your worries and the incident whatever has happened as it is, and tear the page and again write it twice or thrice. After some time you will feel relaxed. The students who are studying in a hostel or otherwise also this exercise will helpful to release pressure. Prime Minister was answering the questions from students, teachers and parents.

For the first time, students from all over India and also Indian students residing abroad will be participating in the programme. Last year only students from Delhi NCR were called. The participants from abroad include students from countries like Russia, Nigeria, Iran, Nepal, Doha, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore.
Special arrangements are being made in CBSE schools in UAE for the Indian expat children for live telecast of Prime Minister Modi’s “Pariksha par Charcha” today. More than 1000 children are expected to watch the telecast in different schools in UAE.

A total of two thousand students, parents and teachers from all over India will be participating in the programme at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi. They were selected by a selection committee through an online contest on MyGov Portal in which over one lakh students took part.

PM Modi: Think of the exam for that year only. It is not an exam of your life, one exam cannot stop your life. While talking with your parents have patience, be attentive while listening to them and keep in mind about asking their views. This will increase your communication with parents.
He urged parents not to bother your children with your ambitions which you could not complete in your life.
Question: How can I distress myself at the time of my child’s exam?
PM Modi: We have detached ourselves with our child after a specific time, start engaging with them and their activities. Observe their small activities and talk with them. Do not use report card of your child as a visiting card.
Question: How we should deal with students who are busy with mobile and computer games?
PM Modi: We can’t keep them away from technology, But this technology should not make him or her robot, it should not make their mind and views narrow. Try and utilise technology for expansion of their views. Be a friend of them and ask about daily routine questions regarding technology.

While answering he said, every student should learn from the maids who work in our society who manages her work in many houses in a day. If she can manage her time then why should not we?
