Inaugurating a wide series of developmental projects, PM Modi will visit Assam and Manipur on Jan 4

New Delhi, January 3: Marking a series of developmental projects in North East, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Manipur and Assam on January 4, Thursday. The Prime Minister is all set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects in the states.
 
 
 
In Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several projects and schemes. He will unveil the plaque to mark the inauguration of various projects including Integrated Check Post (ICP) at Moreh, the Dolaithabi Barrage project, FCI food storage godown at Sawombung, Eco Tourism Complex at ThangalSurungand various water supply schemes.
 
PM Modi will also dedicate the 400kV double circuit Silchar-Imphal line.
 
Moving ahead, PM Modi will also the lay the foundation stone of projects like Infrastructure Development of Dhanamanjuri University, Imphal; sports facilities etc. He will then address the gathering at HaptaKangjeibung in Imphal East District.
 
In Assam, PM Modi will address a Public Rally at Ramnagar in Silchar. 
 
In a recent cabinet decision, the union cabinet chaired by PM Modi stated that the state of Assam will have a 
high-level committee to implement Clause 6 of Assam Accord to hold discussions with all stakeholders on quantum of reservation of seats in Assam Legislative Assembly and local bodies for Assamese.
