Putting up impressive performance, Sukhmeet and Sawarn Singh win bronze at Asian Rowing Championships

New Delhi, October 26: Putting up an impressive performance, the Indian team of veteran rowers Sukhmeet Singh and Sawarn Singh won the bronze medal in men’s doubles sculls at the Asian Rowing Championships today.

In 2018, The Indian rowing team comprising of Sawarn Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, Om Prakash and Sukhmeet Singh clinched the gold medal in the men's Quadruple Sculls in Asian Games. Sawarn Singh had won bronze at the Asian Rowing Championships in 2011. He has also won the 2013 Asian Championships, and a bronze at the 2014 Asian Games.

 

India actually won two Bronze medals at the ongoing championships. Indian team also won bronze in Coxed eight category.
