Converging various cultures, striding on path of progress, seven Indian states in unison celebrate their Formation Day

New Delhi, November 01: First day of November marks to be a significant day in the Indian history as seven of its states together share their foundation day, preparing celebratory events for the same at their respective state capitals. The states of Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh got their identities, tresures and defined natural beauties.
 
 
Prime Minister Narendra Modi while greeting the poeole for respective states on the formation day, describing these as a treasure of natural beauty and wished all states, confluence of various cultures to continue its stride on the path of progress.
PM Modi further noted the states to be brave, skilled, youthful and as an amalgamation of the ancient and modern cultures. "The state continues to progress and contribute for the welfare of the nation", he took to the social media.
Celebrating the MP Foundation Day, Madhy Pradesh CM congratulated the people of state. "Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly due to the efforts and hard work of the people of the state. On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, we should strengthen the determination of all-round development of our state", he said.
Further, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar also wished the citizens saying that in a span of 53 years, Haryana had made unprecedented progress in all areas. He also hoped that Haryana would achieve new heights of progress in the coming time.
 
While the state of Haryana was formed on the 1st of November 1966, it was carved out of Punjab and so this day is celebrated as state day by both the Punjab and Haryana. However, the state of Chhattisgarh was created on November 1, 2000 and the state has been celebrating the same ever since. Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh were recognised as Indian states in 1956.
