Justice Sanjay Karol sworn in as Chief Justice of Patna High Court

Patna, November 12: Justice Sanjay Karol was today sworn in as the Chief Justice of Patna High Court. Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan administered the oath of office to Justice Karol at the Raj Bhavan. Justice Karol was earlier posted as Chief Justice of Tripura before this appointment.

 

Justice Karol succeeded Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi, who has been transferred to the Madras High Court.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and other dignitaries were present at the swearing-in ceremony.
