Chandigarh, November 13: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar will soon expand the cabinet. He stayed in Delhi on Sunday. He met the national president of the party and Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence. It is believed that the names of ministers were finalized in this meeting.

Sanjay Singh, elected for the first time MLA from Sohna seat in Gurugram district, can get a place in Manohar Lal's team. If the cabinet could not be extended on 12, then the extension would take place on 13 November.

On Diwali on 27 October, only Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was sworn in. In Haryana, the BJP has formed the government this time with the support of Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) and seven independents. Under this, JJP leader Dushyant Chautala has become Deputy Chief Minister. The JJP may be given two more ministerial positions. Apart from this, any one of the independents can be included in the government. Constitutionally, the cabinet can have a total of 13 members.

Currently, 11 posts are vacant. Going to the account of two of these JJP and one Independent, eight BJP MLAs will get a chance to become ministers. In this, the name of Anil Vij, who was the Health Minister in the previous government, Kanwarpal, former Assembly Speaker and former Minister of State for Public Health, Dr. Banwari Lal, who won from Bawal (SAFE), are considered to be firm. In such a situation, a woman is also expected to get a place in the remaining five faces.
