Indian Army is speedily working to construct airfields in areas of U’Khand bordering China: General Bipin Rawat

Dehradun, November 4: The Indian Army is speedily working to construct airfields in the areas of Uttarakhand that borders with China, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said on Sunday, adding that improving connectivity of the state is force's priority. He was addressing at Raibaar 2, held on the beautiful Tehri Lake. He assured that the Indian Army and Air Force will cooperate fully wherever connectivity is required.


 

Rawat said that the army is always together for the development of Uttarakhand. The army chief said that we believe that if there is a heaven somewhere in this world, it is here, here, here. He said that on behalf of the Indian Army, we are making every effort in the direction of development with the CM office.

He specifically mentioned the 30 brave mothers involved in this program, whose loved ones have sacrificed their lives to protect the country. We can never forget them. He said that he would like to thank the Chief Minister and his colleagues for organizing the second phase of Rabar. The Army Chief said that as CM told that what we believed to be the destruction here, we are using it only in development. Like are pine leaves. We would like to thank the Government of Uttarakhand for the efforts being made for environment, tourism and employment.

He said that those who are residents of Uttarakhand and who are associated here, I believe that they must believe that there is a heaven somewhere in this world, it is here, it is here and that is why we should make our Uttarakhand progress in the right way Have to take. On behalf of the military, we are working closely with the government. Recently, we are engaged along the border of China, where we are cooperating in the cultivation of walnuts and chilago.

General Rawat said that the land of Uttarakhand has given many brave sons to the country. He also thanked everyone for honoring the brave soldiers and their families.

Army Chief said that whatever programs are held in Uttarakhand, soldiers and their families are honored, it is a matter of pride. Even today, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and UP is honoring the brave women and mothers. Uttarakhand has been giving brave soldiers in the Indian Army. The number of our soldiers will continue to increase in the coming days. They will continue to face the enemy and terrorism fearlessly, even if they do not have to lose their lives.

General Rawat said that the soldiers and women of Uttarakhand do not back down from facing the enemy. I am proud of all of you for this.
