First time in history! Indian men’s table tennis team jumps into top 10 in world rankings

New Delhi, November 4: This is a historic moment for Indian sports! For the first time, India has been spotted in the top 10 of world table-tennis rankings. Indian men’s hockey team has achieved the 9th position, the highest ever world ranking.
Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju congratulated the team for attaining the distinction.
In men’s team ranking, India is on the 9th position with 272 points between France (8th position) and Austria (10th position). China has topped the list with 290 points followed by Japan (288). Earlier, India was on the 11th rank.
