Lucknow, December 24: Achieving great success, Uttar Pradesh government has handed over the possession of more than 50 thousand houses to homeless families across the state on Monday. These Houses have been made under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojna in 62 districts.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his government is working for each and every citizen of the state without any discrimination.
Further, he said,” The long-neglected and last-ranked person of the society should also get the facility of housing, so the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi Uttar Pradesh government has started Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.”
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called a cabinet meeting on Tuesday morning from 11 am. Highly placed sources said that the proposal for expanding the limits of Prayagraj, Firozabad and Shahjahanpur municipal corporations will be approved in the cabinet meeting. Proposals to create ten new Nagar Panchayats will also be approved.
On the proposal of the Housing Department in the cabinet meeting, relief can also be given to all the development authorities of the state and homebuyers of the Housing Development Council. This relief will be given to the home buyers who have fallen into the defaulter's category due to not depositing installments on time and they have become very much interest. Such defaulting home buyers will be given relief through a one-time settlement scheme. The proposal related to this can be approved.
