Dehradun, December 5: On the first day of the winter session of the Assembly, the government introduced nine bills in the House. These include six Ordinances in the form of Bills and the remaining new Bills. Along with this, annual reports of Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board, Uttarakhand Other Backward Classes Commission, Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission and State Food Commission were also laid on the Table of the House. Information was also given about the enactment of two amendment bills in the House.
The ordinances introduced in the House as a bill include Uttarakhand Minister (Salary, Allowances and Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment), Uttarakhand (UP Zamindari Destruction and Land System Act 1950) (Amendment), Uttarakhand (UP Public Service (Physical Form) Reservation for Dependents, Dependents of Freedom Fighters and Ex-Servicemen) Act 1993) (Amendment), Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council (Amendment), Uttarakhand Panchayati Raj ( Vitiy Amendment) and Uttarakhand, including former chief feature (housing and other facilities)
The new bills introduced are Uttarakhand Fruit Plantation (Regulation) Bill, Uttarakhand State Legislature (Prevention of Disqualification) (Amendment) Bill and Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill. These Bills were recently approved by the Cabinet. After the permission of the Governor of Uttarakhand Panchayatiraj (Amendment) Bill and Uttarakhand Ayurveda University (Amendment) Bill, the House was informed of the formation of 10th and 11th Act respectively. Notified hardship redress orders were also laid on the Table of the House under the provisions of the Uttarakhand Goods and Services Tax Act.
