Haryana's Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Fisheries Minister Jayprakash Dalal said on Friday that Haryana has become the first state in the country, where Animal Farmers Credit Card Scheme has been implemented to promote animal husbandry and agribusiness. is.

Minister Dalal was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Animal Farmers Credit Card Scheme on Friday at the local panchayat building. He also launched Animal Knowledge Ganga, Animal Registration, Insurance Claim Solution Week and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Animal Money Insurance Scheme.

He said that agriculture and animal husbandry business will be made employment-oriented, for this, youth will be given skill development training in horticulture and animal husbandry. So that the youth of the state can get employment in developed countries. He said that agriculture and animal husbandry will be modernized on the lines of developed countries.

He said that the central and state government is trying to double the income of farmers in the state. For this, various schemes and programs for farmers and livestock farmers are being effectively implemented. He said that dairy farming and horticulture training will be imparted to more than five lakh farmers in the state to make animal husbandry and agriculture business profitable. He requested the livestock farmers to utilize the amount received from the Animal Farmers Credit Card and said that most of the Animal Farmers Credit Cards should be made in the names of women.
