Hyderabad, Feb 22: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the 40 security personals who sacrificed their lives in the horrifying Pulawama attack on February 14. On the first day of state assembly budget session, members of both houses paid homage to brave CRPF jawans and moved a resolution condemning the cowardly attack.
Expressing deep regret over the loss of lives, the Chief Minister said that Indians will never forget the unfortunate incidence and one should not politicize the sensitive issue.“ The whole nation is with the families of Jawans in the hour of grief” said KCR.
Rao opined that a comprehensive policy to curb cross border terrorism should be implemented. The Chief Minister urged the central government to take immediate and effective steps in order to get rid of terrorist activities across the country.
