“The country is in safe hands” PM Modi assures nation while addressing a public rally in Rajasthan after IAF mission

Churu, Rajasthan, Feb 26: “Whatever happens, will not let the nation stop, I assure the country is in safe hands” expressed confidence by PM Narendra Modi while addressing a public rally in Churu, Rajasthan.

 

This is the first rally of PM Modi after Indian Air Force’s operation in Pakistan. The IAF destroyed terror camps of JeM in an operation beyond LoC today.

PM Modi’s visit to the Shekhawati region assumes significance in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF personnel were martyred. A large number of people from the Shekhawati region have been joining armed forces for a long time. Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia and other prominent local leaders of the region are also present on this occasion.

PM Modi’s visit assumes political significance too as it comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi’s rally will have an impact in around 5 Lok Sabha seats including Bikaner, Sriganganagar-Hanumangarh, Jhunjunu, and Sikar.

While addressing the public rally, PM Modi said, Today is a day to pay homage to India’s Bravehearts.

On this occasion, PM vowed not to let the country bow down, adding that, “nothing is above the nation”.

 

He said the BJP-led NDA government fulfilled the promise of OROP. He expressed, “I am satisfied that over 20 lakh families are getting the benefits of OROP”.

He assured that within the next 10 years, Rs. 7.5 lakh crore will be deposited in the accounts of farmers.

“They will not have to do anything for it. They will directly get a notification on their mobile phones, saying that they have received the amount”, he said.

He stated, My government has made the impossible, possible. The state government must not hinder the Centre's support to farmers.

Our government has made a successful effort to connect common people to the facilities such as road, electricity, water, toilets, education, rail, gas connections, PM said.

He expressed confidence and said, Today impossible is possible because it is the Modi government.
