Nurturing budding entrepreneurs! IIT-Mandi invites entrepreneurs for Himalayan Innovative Challenge, Will grant up 16 lakh

Mandi, Apr 22: India is working rapidly towards becoming the entrepreneurial hub. To encourage and support entrepreneurs, there are many policies are formulated by the Indian Government. To encourage the entrepreneurs to develop technology solutions for problems that are unique to the Himalayan region, the technology business incubator of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi - ‘Catalyst’ - is inviting applications from startups, innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs for Himalayan Innovation Challenge (HIC).

 

According to an official statement, the last date for applying for the event, which will be held on 25 and 26 May, is 10 May 2019. Interested candidates can apply for the event through the website of the institute.

Total prize money of Rs one lakh will be awarded to the top ideas and incubation support will be offered, which will include Rs 16 lakh worth of grant and investment from IIT Mandi Catalyst.

HIC is an initiative of IIT Mandi Catalyst to inspire a series of innovative technology-based solutions designed specifically to solve social and economic problems in the Himalayan region.
