Security Forces apprehend JeM terrorist Abdul Majeed Baba carrying reward of Rs 2 Lakhs

New Delhi, May 14: Sparing no one, the defence security forces are making sure all terrorists are put behind bars. In a latest development, the Special Cell of Police arrested an alleged terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammad. The terrorist has been identified as Abdul Majeed Baba.

 

The Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist Abdul Majeed Baba carries a reward of Rs 2 Lakh from Srinagar. The accused is a resident of Magrepora district of Sopore. Abdul Majeed Baba had been absconding since the last 5 years. 

The arrest was made on Saturday evening from Soura in downtown Srinagar, Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) said. Baba will be produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Srinagar and brought to Delhi on transit remand, police said.

Situations between India and Pakistan intensified after the Pulwama Attack which killed 40 CRPF jawans. The terrorist organisation JeM which is in Pakistan, claimed the responsibility of the attack. Avenging the Pulwama Suicide Bombing, Indian Air Force attacked the Balakot terrorist camp killing around 350 terrorists.
