Mumbai, May 17: It’s a flop show for Congress leader Mr Rahul Gandhi as the official Twitter handle of the Oxford Dictionaries has called out Rahul Gandhi’s tweet which claimed that a new word ‘Modilie’ has been added to the dictionaries which, as per Rahul Gandhi, means ‘constantly modifying the truth’.

The tweet says, “We can confirm that the image showing the entry ‘Modilie’ is fake and it does not exist in any of our dictionaries.”

Rahul had tweeted the image on Wednesday saying, there’s a new word in the English Dictionary. Attached is a snapshot of the entry.” The tweet aimed at PM Modi which indeed proved a flop show for him.

This is not the first time that Rahul has been called out for fake attribution. Recently the Supreme Court had slammed the Congress President for falsely attributing the ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’ jibe to them. Rahul had to submit an unconditional apology for the same.

Rahul Gandhi finally filed an affidavit tendering an unconditional apology for his remark ‘Chowkidar Chor Hai’. Flipping sides as usual, first stating that the statement was in the heat of the moment, now, Congress chief says that it was non-wilful, unintentional and inadvertent.

In the affidavit that was filed today by advocate Sunil Fernandes, Rahul Gandhi has submitted, “The Deponent unconditionally apologises for the wrongful attributions to this Hon’ble Court. The Deponent further states that any such attributions were entirely unintentional, non-willful and inadvertent.”
