New Delhi, May 23: Overshadowing the challenges encountered along his way, celebrating whatever he accomplished and raising the bar a little higher each time he fought, the Modi led Government has marked its existence high on the battle ground. The 17th Lok Sabha poll officially favours PM Modi to rule and serve the extant reigns for the next five years, standing straight to fulfil the promises made to citizens abide the nation’s development. Winning with high majority BJP has won 27 seats with lead of 277 constituencies.

Clean Sweep in North:

Impressive and applauding as it is, BJP made a clean sweep entry in most of the states. Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh; the party made a bang on comeback by wiping off the opposition. Having no major tough fight, BJP swiftly hallmarked the 7 seats in Delhi leaving Aam Aadmi Party completely puzzled and baffled. Interestingly, cutting ribbons of false hopes, promises cited by the Congress government, the people of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh brought back BJP with clear majority.

In Rajasthan, the BJP’s lead in 24 out of 25 constituencies proved a significant comeback and likewise was the case in Madhya Pradesh grabbing 28 out of 29 constituencies.Leading with clean victory in Himachal Pradesh the saffron surged sliding in all four leading constituencies. Leaving no room for opposition, Haryana performed well with a clear spell of ‘Aayega Toh Modi Hi’ leading in all 10 constituencies.

Levelling up in large margin:

Strategizing perfectly, winning with a majority was not an easy task; losing in three states during the assembly elections surely had humped a big blow to the party. Upscaling the graph the BJP’s 30% voters margin surged high to nearly 45% in the 2019 elections. The efforts put in by the leaders and Modi himself gave a magnificent victory to the party. The Prime Minister addressed 142 meetings and 4 road shows from March 28 to May 17. He established direct contact with 10000 party activists and 7000 beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes.

Modi centric elections:

Placing the development report card of five years, Bharatiya Janata Party gave a more appealing and briefer manifesto for their next term. Trying hard to make the election campaigning more development centric, the opposition had some other plans in store. Pointing out names, degrading the stature of Prime Minister, the oppositions blatantly hovered unnecessary and untrue allegations on PM Modi. With this, the elections was clearly Modi v/s the oppositions. Trying hard to demean PM with blatant allegations this strategy backfired on the opposition.

South effect:

Having a stronghold on Hindi-speaking states, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has done much to change this perception, South still remains a matter of question. Opening account with impressive performance in Karnataka, the party could not sway its magic in other states like Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh. Supporting the Sabarimala issue, extending every possible support during natural calamity the party still needs to grab the pulse of the people in South.
