Munich, May 31: the ISSF Shooting World Cup 2019 has been proved a milestone to India as Indian shooters have topped the medal tally with five golds and a silver and has thereby surpassed China who is on second position having 2 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.


 

On the last day of the world cup competition in Munich yesterday, Anjum Maudgil and Singh Divyansh Panwar defeated their compatriots, winning with a landslide victory of 16 points to 2. On the same day Manu Bhakar and Chaudhari Saurabh extended India’s winning streak by wining 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team match. Manu and Saurabh topped the 76-team field with a score of 586 and then doing an encore in round two with an even better 591.

 
In Individual Events, India’s gold medalists include Apurvi Chandela in the Women’s 10 metre Air Rifle, Rahi Sarnobat in the Women’s 25 metre Pistol and Saurabh Chaudhari in the men’s 10m Air Pistol.
