New Delhi, May 7:Accepting a set of dramatic applause at the Met Gala 2019, the Indian hounds, who once admired the lady for her acting, her boldness and her dedication, have moved up criticizing her shock look. Yes, its India’s stylish diva Priyanka Chopra Jonas we are talking about..!

 

 

Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukon on Tuesday suited up for the Met Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Chopra who is attending the Met Gala for the third time this year arrived with her husband Nick Jonas, dressed in a snowy tuxedo. While Priyanka was dressed in an exaggerated feathered embellished dress.

 

While most fans loved the actress’s interpretation of the theme and the fact that she did not play safe, several memes centered around the look also started ruling the social media almost immediately, making one laugh out loud. 

Some said this to be the 5 month effect after wedding, while some compared her to a scary doll, reading Hanuman Chalisa. Chopra also got linked to Sri Lankan cricketer, Lasith Malinga’s looks. The other meme meanwhile claimed that may be she had watched ‘Chalbaz’ movie before getting ready and moved up taking inspiration from the make-up that SriDevi did for her Aunt on reel.

 

This year the Met gala is based on Notes on Camp, an essay written in 1964 by American author Susan Sontag and the theme is called ‘Camp-Notes on Fashion’. Established in 1948, the Met Gala is a way to raise money for the newly found Costume Institutes and mark the opening of its annual exhibit.
