Glorifying pages of Indian history reach China; Primary students paint 'Gandhi 150' logos mastering Indian culture

New Delhi, May 8: India has always been a curious place that still preserves the past, religions and its history. No matter how modern India becomes, it is still and will be an old country, obeying the history it has owned.
Every Indian child nationwide is meant to understand and learn the history, to know the freedom fighters and their bravery. But the glorifying pages of the Indian history have managed to reach the students worldwide.
 
 
Marking 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Indian Embassy in China conducted an interactive session with the students of primary schools, where they had a glimpse of Indian history and culture. They participated in a drawing competition for Gandhi 150 logo and saw a photo exhibition on life and times of Gandhi.
 
The students, painting pictures, merrily filled colours of joy, happiness and innocence writing Gandhi 150 logo. The pure lads held their colours high cheering the mega celebration scheduled this year.
The Indian Government has decided to commemorate 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, at national and international level to propagate his message. The National Committee is set to guide and approve policies, programmes and activities for the commemoration and to supervise implementation of the decisions taken from time to time.
