NDA government infused new vigour and strength in soldiers: PM Modi in Haryana

Fatehabad, May 8: Campaigning is picking up for the remaining two phases of Lok Sabha elections. Polling in the sixth phase will be held in 59 parliamentary constituencies spread across seven states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a rally in Fatehabad in Haryana. Stating that his government “infused new vigour and strength” in the soldiers, Modi said the Indian Army struck inside the Pakistani territory and killed the terrorists.

 

PM Modi addressed a public rally in Fatehabad in Sirsa Lok Sabha seat, where the party has nominated Sunita Duggal as its candidate. Prime Minister raised the question, “Can any nation become a world power without strengthening its defence? Has Congress or any other 'mahamilavati' parties ever spoken about defence in their gatherings? They can't say anything on defence because of their history in this field”  PM stressed on in Haryana, BJP’s agenda is development. Others prefer casteism and corruption.

The rally was attended by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, former Punjab deputy chief minister and SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and other senior leaders of the BJP and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD).

He visited Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency in the state to address his second rally, from where BJP has fielded Nayab Saini. In this rally, Modi assured people that he will do his best for every drop of water that is going to Pakistan. “Many rivers go to Pakistan from India but sadly this water belongs to our farmer. Congress failed to do anything on this but your Chowkidar will ensure that every Indian farmer gets every drop of water. The water from the Indian River will not go to Pakistan.”

Regarding farmers income, he said, “Small farmers are now getting money in their bank accounts. We are also working to form the National Traders Association to help small traders. We are also planning to give pension to small farmers and farm labourers with a pension as they aged 60 years.”

PM Modi will then return to the capital Delhi where he will address his third poll rally at the iconic Ramlila Maidan. All seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi will also vote on Sunday, May 12. The BJP is expecting Muslim women and first-time voters to participate in PM Modi's rally in Delhi in large numbers.
