New Delhi, Jun 15: Modi 2.0 is now settled in the center, taking productive decisions for India. But the internal fight between different parties and leaders is still going on and on after elections.

Now, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh had decided to skip 5th governing council of Niti Aayog on Saturday. He joined this clan, where Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Telangana CM K Chandrashekar already decided to skip the meet.

This 5th governing council meet by Niti Aayog will be chaired by PM Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This meeting will be attended by some of the country’s topmost political office bearers including the chief ministers, lieutenant governors of union territories and union ministers apart from senior bureaucrats.

The reason behind Amarinder Singh’s absentee is reported to be under the weather. Due to this, he also missed a meeting of Congress CMs called to discuss state-specific issues by Former PM Manmohan Singh.

The reason given by K Chandrasekhar Rao is the inauguration of Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, as per the statement of TRS leader and former MP B Vinod Kumar.

As per TRS statement, He even instructed the officials to prepare a detailed note which he was planning to present at the governing council meeting. He was keen on showcasing the Rythu Bandhu scheme, which has become a role model for several states. But it is not known why he decided against attending the Niti Aayog meeting.

Further, TRS statement added, KCR also wanted to invite the Prime Minister for the inauguration of Kaleshwaram project, but apparently, he could not get the appointment.

And, Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee is in the open rebel with the central government. While fighting this bitter political war with BJP, Mamta Banerjee called Niti Aayog meet as ‘fruitless’ as Niti Aayog has no financial powers to support state plans.
