Thanks Oman for Timely Support! 10 Indians Rescued After Crew Accident in Omani Waters

Muscat, June 14: An unfortunate accident happened in the Gulf of Oman in which an Indian boat was reported to be drowning yesterday morning. However, the boat and 10 drowning crew members have been rescued off the Omani port city of Dhalkut. Indian Embassy in Muscat has thanked Omani Authorities for timely support.


 
Omani Maritime Security Centre on Friday, after receiving a distress call informed the concerned authorities about the incidence. The Omani Navi sent a ship to the Indian boat which was subjected to some technical failure in the engines. Until now 10 persons have been rescued and only one is missing. The Omani Air Force planes are still searching for a missing crew member.
