New Delhi, Jun 24: The New Education Policy is a hot topic of the town. Due to various new recommendations and suggestions, the scholars and education experts are discussing a lot. Many questions arose due to 3-languages model.

Now, resting all the issues around the languages, HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishak said, “The center is committed to promoting all Indian Languages equally through the New Education Policy in the country”.

Replying to supplementaries in the Lok Sabha, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today said, the government is taking necessary steps to strengthen all Indian languages.

  

Pokhriyal also said, “after studying the current education system for two years, the Kasturi-Rangan Committee has submitted a draft on new Education Policy on 31st May 2019. The Committee constituted on 24th June 2017 held 70 meetings across the country and has received suggestions from national and international experts in the field”.

Replying to the objections raised by the AIMIM Member Asaduddin Owaisi and other members, the Minister also clarified that the New Education Policy is still in a draft stage and kept in public domain to receive suggestions.

The Minister said that the Government is also open to receiving suggestions on the policy from the Members and any other stakeholders.
