New Delhi, June 24: International Religious Freedom report published by the US State Department is nothing but a bunch of meaningless prints. India rejecting US’ words, said that it is proud of its, its status as the largest democracy and pluralistic society with a longstanding commitment to tolerance and inclusion.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar while answering a query said that the Indian Constitution guarantees fundamental rights to all its citizens including minority communities. He said, "It is widely acknowledged that India is a vibrant democracy where the Constitution provides protection of religious freedom, and where democratic governance and rule of law further promote and protect the fundamental rights."

Kumar also said India sees no locus standi for a foreign entity or government to pronounce on the state of its citizens constitutionally protected rights.

The report covers government policies violating religious belief and practices of groups, religious denominations and individuals, and US policies to promote religious freedom around the world.

If read deeply one can figure out that the report is biased enough to diminish the Hindu image and pampering the minority Muslims, Christians. this report is leading the nation towards communal cracks.
