With complete media blackout; Pakistan hints on wrapping hidden truths at the Rawalpindi military hosp blast

Rawalpindi, June 24: Injuring almost ten people, the huge blast at the military hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan shocked everyone. Apparently, Jaish-e-Mohammad leader Masood Azhar was being admitted to the army hospital as he received dialysis for the renal failure treatment. The Pakistan media also did not cover the issue because of military pressure and so the news spread was widely reported on social media.

 

The video of the blast went viral on social media where the footages shared by local people show black smoke coming out from the hospital premises after the blast. This media blackout about the incident had led to many people to speculate that it may be more than a simple accident. Even if it was an accident, it should have been reported by media as it is a major army hospital, and it was widely reported on social media.

According to the reports, after the blast took place atleast ten people were taken to the emergency ward of the hospital. The explosion took place near the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology, which is located inside the Rawalpindi cantonment. Interestingly, Jaish-e-Mohammad Chief Masood Azhar has been admitted to the hospital for his treatment. The UN designated terrorist leader was reported to be suffering from renal failure and he was undergoing regular dialysis at the army hospital. Although later reports had suggested that Azhar was shifted from the hospital to a highly secured location after the Balakot strikes.

With numerous speculations mounting on the real reason for this blast, the fact that JeM chief Masood Azhar was treated there, the high security must have been strengthened and to take defend all foreseeable threat. Occurrence of such incidents even if taken as accidents; this adds dimensions to the risk of breaching layers of defence. With so many conflicts & contradictions, interesting events are going to unfold in near future for sure.
