Jaipur, Jun 25: Rajasthan farmers’ are now demanding their promised loan waiver from the government. The election promise by Congress Party becomes only promise after victory in elections. Now, the farmers are suffering due to this unethical business of Congress government.
 

 
 
Now, the situation regarding loan waiver is intensified. On Sunday, a 45-year-old farmer committed suicide, leaving behind a note which apparently written by him accused CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot of not fulfilling its pre-poll promise of waiving bank loans.
 
The farmer, Sohan Lal, had also shot a video on his mobile phone and uploaded it on social media. Sohan Lal consumed poison on Sunday morning. He was soon taken to a nearby government hospital from where he was referred to Sriganganagar. He died while being taken to another hospital.
 
In his suicide note, Sohan Lal wrote, “I am going to end my life today. Nobody is at fault in this. (Ashok) Gehlot and (Deputy Chief Minister) Sachin Pilot are responsible for my death. They had made a statement that they will waive off our loans within 10 days... What has happened to their promise? It is time to bow down the government today”.
 
 
In the suicide note, Sohan Lal also wrote, “I am committing suicide on behalf of all farmer brothers," the note said urging people to look after the members of his family”.
 
Sharing the details about the incident, Sub Divisional Magistrate Sandeep Kakkar said, “Cause of the suicide is being investigated. Action will be taken if it is proved that he took his life because he was under pressure from someone, action will be taken. He was not a defaulter and was paying his dues regularly”.
 
This suicide note and Suicide by Farmer Sohan Lal is proof of incapacity and failed promises of Congress government of Rajasthan.
