Fostering links with major Asian economic powers, PM Modi conducts bilateral talks with stellar imperiums

Oaska, June 28: While India stands robust enough to settle uprising problems within the nation, the Modi-led Government has strengthened the international relations to such an extent that the world powers today support India over enhancing trade and social relation.
 
Fostering business links with major Asian economic powers, PM Narendra Modi, on the sidelines of G20 summit in Japan’s Oaska, met several world leaders holding bilateral talks over possibility of stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

 
 
Meeting with the US President Donald Trump:
 
The interaction between Trump and Modi proved significant in view of the multiple disagreements that had cropped up between the two nations including trade tariffs and an arms deal with Russia. President Trump at the bilateral meet congratulated PM Modi on his election victory saying that he deserved the massive victory. "We will like to continue to talking to India. India is doing well," he said.
Meanwhile, PM Modi said that India would strive to work for a positive relationship with the US. "We have talked about various issues. The India-US vision is far sighted and positive," PM Modi said adding that India was committed to a better future with US.
 
Discussing trade at Oaska, President Trump said, "We have become great friends and our countries have never been closer. I can say that with surety. We'll work together in many ways including military and trade”. “I think we will have something big to announce. Very big trade deals. We will have very big things with India in terms of trade -in terms of manufacturing, in terms of manufacturing 5Gs”, he added.
 
Thanking India for the relationship and friendship, Trump noted that the meet was a fantastic tribute to India and its abilities. The duo further focused on the larger picture of the Gulf region and discussed the possibilities of bringing stability there.
 
Meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-In:
 
The Prime Minister also met South Korean President Moon Jae-In, where the two leaders focused on further enhancing trade and investment, as well as tourism and cultural ties, increasing connectivity in the Indo-Pacific region.
Visas and their validity were also discussed during the meeting and way in which people of India and South Korea can get visas more easily and for a longer duration, especially the South Korean nationals who live in India and work in South Korean companies.
 
Trade is a key aspect of the ties with South Korea and the duo further discussed ways to further enhance trade and business. We need to focus more on increased South Korean investment in India, especially in the manufacturing sector”, said PM Modi. India and South Korea also have deep cultural ties, heading towards expansion.
 
Meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman:
 
Meeting the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, PM Modi spoke in detail about the Saudi-India strategic partnership. The duo focused on ways to further deepen cooperation in various sectors, especially energy, trade and counter-terrorism.
Prime Minister Modi also appreciated the leadership shown by Saudi Arabia in the area of energy and oil. “India firmly believes that Saudi Arabia plays a crucial role in the region and globally to keep crude prices stable”, he said. The two leaders also discussed in detail the people-to-people ties and how to further cultural ties.
 
Counter-Terrorism being the crucial point of discourse, both the leaders agreed to deepen cooperation in counter-terror measures and ways to stop terror financing. “Terrorism is a global threat and a challenge to humanity”, they agreed. The Saudi Prince further invited PM Modi for an international summit meeting as a special guest.
 
Meeting with BRICS leaders:
 
Post his trilateral meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo and US President Donald Trump, PM Narendra Modi held his staunch remarks to strengthen WTO, fight protectionism, ensure energy security and the need to work together to fight terrorism at the BRICS leaders meet on the sidelines of G20 summit.
“We must all come together and fight the menace of terrorism. Terrorism not only targets the innocent, it creates an environment that is dangerous. We must all make it a priority to do all we can to curb and end terrorism on a global scale. We must put an end to the financing of terror outfits”, PM Modi said.
The overall BRICS summit was satisfactory where important points were covered to reduce the menace of terrorism and terror financing in detail. All the heads of states agreed unanimously on acting against terrorism and terror financing. The leaders also focused on the internet and digital platforms being used to indoctrinate, radicalize and recruit terrorists.
