You will be missed! As Sushma Swaraj vacates official residence, twitter floods in thankful messages

New Delhi, June 29: Performing her duty boldly with an aura of charismatic leadership, Sushma Swaraj as External Affairs Minister won million hearts. Waving her magic wand, Sushma Swaraj has once again set an example of a true leader as she vacated her official residence located at 8, Safdarjung Lane. While she announced the news, the netizens could not hold their emotions and rightfully poured in thanking Swaraj to be a dynamic foreign minister.

Former External Affairs Ministers in a tweet this morning, said, “I have moved out of my official residence 8, Safdarjung Lane, New Delhi. Please note that I am not contactable on the earlier address and phone numbers.”

Actor Anupam Kher tweeted, "You are one of the most graceful & dignified leaders of modern India. A persona like you, may move out of the official residence but you will continue to reside in our hearts for years. World of politics is a better place because of leaders like you."

 

The twitteratis also shared best wishes to the former minister thanking for being an inspiration for the masses and also to exhibit a thorough example of ‘NariShakti’. The minister has definitely set an example for many others.

 

Sushma Swaraj, 67, left a legacy of an easily-accessible foreign minister who helped the Indians abroad in distress with her quick response on Twitter to requests for help. Even banal or joking requests drew a response from Sushma Swaraj.

Dr. S Jaishankar, her successor in the Foreign Ministry, had said he was "proud to follow on the footsteps" of Ms Swaraj.
