Guwahati, July 13: Liberating a remarkable example for all, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation has rightly signified that people’s safety and needs will always be on their priority. Exhibiting their work in complete dedication and on timely basis, the Guwahati Municipal Corporation was quick enough to respond to a complaint initiated by a local to clean the garbage in the area.

 

Adopting digitization and retorting on a timely basis, the Assam government has signified how true and dedicated they are towards their job. A local resident from Guwahati initiated a complaint on growing menace of garbage in his locality. In a tweet, Shashank Chakraborty mentioned saying, “This is the degree of response I received today from @gmc_guwahati. All thanks to the efficient digitalisation policy adopted by @mygovassam across various departments of the state.”

 

The complaint was lodged at around 8.15 am in the morning, while the municipal corporation took quick measures to work accordingly. It was by 9.30 A.M. the GMC workers came to the spot and took action by cleaning the garage. By 10 a.m. the workers had completed their cleaning and dressing for the area and by 11 a.m. the garage was completely cleaned by the workers.

The quick response and timely action has undoubtedly created a perfect impression on the locals and has also shown how the workers have been effective in exemplifying their swift action towards the people.
