New Delhi, July 15: Prioritising the health impulse and aiming to bring all stakeholders on common e-Health platform, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan today released the National Digital Health Blueprint report in the national capital today.

“The National Digital Health Blueprint is set to accelerate our efforts towards achieving Universal Health Coverage with complete transparency and accountability. India shall hence lead the world in digital healthcare revolution”, he said while addressing the present delegates.

Further lauding the initiative towards digitalisation, he said, “In line with the vision of PM Narendra Modi to create a Digital India where technology becomes an enabler for India’s development story, the centre has drafted the National Digital Health Blueprint to provide a seamless corridor for connecting all stakeholders”.
The said blueprint report provides a framework for architecting and deploying digital health solutions, along with considerations for design choices and strategic planning. It goes well beyond EHRs and covers the broader digital health landscape.
It also illustrates how current and emerging technologies can be incorporated into health care delivery processes to enrich the functionality, generate greater efficiencies and enhance the experience for health service providers and consumers.
