Hats off to CRPF: Rescues 20 civilians trapped in debris after a massive mishap in Himachal Pradesh

Shimla, July 15: It is needless to say that our Country’s each personnel is entitled to a salute but this incident has made us everyone proud when a CRPF team of 21 personnel along with other agencies committed itself to the rescue and relief operation after an unfortunate massive landslide in Kumarhatti, Himachal Pradesh destroyed a dhaba on Sunday and trapped 20 civilians in the debris.


 

The multi-story building collapsed on NH at Kumarhatti in Solan district.

After 3 PM on Sunday, a tumultuous tandoori dhaba and four-storey building situated on the Nahan road, one kilometer ahead of Kumarhattati Bazar collapsed.

 

Police and district administration officers from Dharampur arrived at the spot after getting the information. Personnel and officers reached the spot from Kasauli, Dagshai and Subathu Cantt. The local people, the police, the army, the CRPF and the NDRF team are engaged in rescue work.
