Yesterday was the ‘1 year to go’ day for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which will be kicked-off on July 24, 2020. The Minister launched his official twitter handle on this important occasion. Right of the first day of the launch, Kiren Rijiju has appealed to the people to interact with him and share the suggestions to make India a global sporting superpower.
The first official tweet displays Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s quote – “Who doesn’t like sports? Spirit, Strength, Skill, Stamina, all these things have tremendous importance in sports world.
