Amazed by Imran Khan’s glaring acceptance on militant groups, India advices Pakistan to take credible and irreversible action

New Delhi, July 25: Imran Khan’s visit to the United States made quite some shocking and startling revelations. From Baloch activists slamming Imran Khan, to Donald Trump’s false claim on Kashmir issue, Pakistan was however exposed at many levels. The Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan accepting the fact that around 30,000 to 40,000 militant groups being active in Pakistan, India on Thursday asserted that it is time for Islamabad to take credible and irreversible action against terrorists.

 

Addressing the press media, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, “It is a glaring admission by the Pakistani leadership. It is time for Pakistan to take credible and irreversible action against terrorists.” 

During his three day visit to the US, Imran Khan admitted that about 30,000-40,000 militant groups who have been trained and fought in some part of Afghanistan or Kashmir, were in Pakistan and accused the previous governments of not telling the truth to the US about the militant groups operating in the country.

Raveesh Kumar also played down the controversy over US President Donald Trump's claim that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked him to mediate on the Kashmir issue, saying it is time to move on. The MEA spokesperson asserted that India's relationship with US remains very strong.

On question regarding Kulbhushan Jadhav’s consular access, Raveesh Kumar said that India expects that full consular access should be granted to Kulbhushan Jadhav at the earliest in full compliance with the ICJ's judgment. India is in touch with Pakistani authorities in this regard and as & when there is an update the authorities will let everyone know.
