Mumbai, July 4: No matter, who you are, crime is what it is for all folks and deserves a heavy punishment within the judicial weigh scale. Failing to appear in the Jodhpur Court for hearing in relation to the blackbuck poaching case, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been directed to be present for the next hearing on September 27, failing which his bail would be rejected.

Salman Khan was accused of hunting and killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan's Kankani while he was in the state for the shoot of film Hum Saath Saath Hain. The hunting of blackbucks is prohibited under the Wildlife Protection Act.
In 2018, Khan was sentenced to five years in jail and had later received the bail. He spent two nights in the jail and then got the bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of the amount.
Back in January 2017, when Salman recorded his statement in the blackbuck poaching case in a Jodhpur court, he mostly stuck to true and false while answering the magistrate's questions. "Only the first forensic report of Dr Nepalia saying that the animal died of natural causes was true and the rest of the evidence is false," Salman was quoted as telling the Jodhpur magistrate.
