Varanasi, July 5: Commenting on Rahul Gandhi relinquishing Congress President’s post, senior RSS leader and social thinker Indresh Kumar said that Rahul was haunted by RSS phobia due to the stunning defeat his party received in the recently held Lok Sabha elections.

“As demon King Ravana was haunted by spectre of Sri Rama every moment, so is Rahul suffering from RSS phobia due to electoral defeat. Frustrated as he is, the Congress president is resorting to use of foul language and uncivilized words”, Indresh Kumar said.

He further said that Rahul Gandhi has proved that the Congress cannot fight with nationalism and humanism. May God bless Rahul because he is standing as a misfortune of Congress and his own self, Indresh Kumar added.

Commenting on the Maharashtra court granting bail to Rahul in RSS defamation case, Indresh Kumar said that Rahul is a frustrated leadership. The spectre of electoral defeat is always haunting him. He supported ‘Bharat Tere Tukde Honge…”, and as such uses most foul and uncivilized language. He fought the saffron, Hindu, nationalism and humanism and that made him suffer from uncivilized, undemocratic and unconstitutional behaviour, Indresh Kumar said.

Indresh Kumar on Ayodhya issue: Addressing the Muslim Congregation at Varanasi on Wednesday Indresh Kumar said that the decision on construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya should be arrived at without any further delay. He said that it was a question of answerability of the judges to the 130 crore Indian citizens.

Interacting with the reporters after the meeting, Indresh Kumar said that the judges are definitely answerable to the people of the country in this case. He appealed to the judges dealing with this case to concentrate on this issue along with other cases so that they can honour the feelings of the 130 crore citizens of the country.

He said as Mecca-Media, Vatican, Golden Temple at Amritsar, Bodh Gaya and Sarnath, etc. are respected and honoured, so is the case with Ayodhya. Here also a grand temple of Sri Rama should be constructed as Sri Rama is Khuda and Khuda is Sri Rama. So why not have a temple at his birth place, he asked.

On the issue of Article 370 and 35A, he said that continuance of both these articles is not in the interest of the country, its integrity and unity. He insisted that the President should abolish this article and give a fitting reply to Pakistan that Kashmir belonged to Bharat and not to Pakistan. People from rest of India can visit Kashmir without any fear.

He said that as the entire country is open for all the citizens, including those of Jammu and Kashmir, so Kashmir should also remain reciprocal.
