Walking on the footsteps of PM Modi’s vision, UP sets target to become 1-trillion economy in coming years

Lucknow, July 9: While India is on the mission to turn to a 5 trillion dollar economy by 2024, Uttar Pradesh government has also set the target to become one trillion dollar economy in coming years so that the state can contribute in fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of expanding country's economy to 5 trillion dollars.


 

Inaugurating annual workshop of regional agriculture science centers in Kumarganj agriculture university at Ayodhya, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the agriculture sector of state can play a major role in achieving the target of one trillion economy. He said that UP has the potential to feed the entire world.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that last 5 years were very important in the field of agriculture in the country because of the various schemes launched by the central government such as soil health card, Pradhan Mantri Sinchayi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna. He called upon agriculture scientists and people associated with regional agriculture science centers to play an important role in developing a brand of one agricultural product from every district of state.

 

With the strong pillars of Per Capita Income, Sanitation, Infrastructure, and Farming Sector, It will be an easy path for India or the state to achieve its goal in the coming years.
