New Delhi, August 1: Wednesday’s Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi nodded a number of projects, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which could help the nation to catch the track of development in all terms fast. Let us scroll down the decisions taken by the Cabinet.


 

The Cabinet….

  1. has approved the extension of the term of the commission constituted under Article 340 of the constitution to examine the issue of Sub-categorization within other Backward Classes in the Central List by six months beyond 31st July 2019 and up to 31st January 2020;

  2. has given its ex-post facto MoU signed between India and Bolivia on Cooperation in the Exploration and Uses of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes;

  3. has approved the setting up of ISRO Technical Liaison Unit (ITLU) at Moscow, Russia;

  4. was apprised about the signing of MoU between India and Bahrain on Cooperation in the Exploration and Uses of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes;

  5. has approved the signing of the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements (UNISA) resulting from mediation by the Republic of India scheduled to be held at Singapore on 7th August 2019, or at United Nations Headquarters;

  6. has approved the proposal of the Department of Fertilizers for fixation of Nutrient Based Subsidy Rates for P&K Fertilizers for the year 2019-20.
