International ‘Raksha Bandhan’ in Delhi on Aug 13

New Delhi, Aug 1: Like every year, this year’s “International Rakshabandhan Utsav” will be celebrated in New Delhi on August 13, 20119. The grand function to celebrate the festival of human life values will be held at NDMC Convention Centre in Jantar-Mantar area of the national capital at 2 pm, sources said.

A number of social, political, religious heads of various sects, environmentalists, film artists, soldiers, journalists, writers, Divyang etc. will be participating in this function to spread the message of Universal Brotherhood and peace.

This program is jointly organised by Bharat-Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM), Himalaya Parivar, Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS), Nepali Sanskruti Parishad, Dharma Sanskruti Sangan, Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), Issai Rashtriya Manch an organisation of Christian community. An umbrella organization called “Antarrashtriya Rakshabandhan Utsav Ayojan Samiti” has been formed with representatives of all these organizations to conduct the program in a grand way.

 

Famous thinker, social activist and RSS Pracharak and Patron and Guide of all the institutions jointly organising this festival Indresh Kumar will administer the oath to all the participants in the program.

This program will emanate the message of awareness on issues of girl child feticide, dowry, triple talaq, corruption, terrorism, separatism, violence, addiction, communalism, caste-based discrimination, blind faith, insult to women and global warming.

Rakhis will be tied to each other giving the message of universal brotherhood, peace, security, and welfare of human beings and nature.
